Our baristas and trainers of the Académie du Café will also show Latte Art demonstrations. We will propose a pastry pairing experience: you will be able to taste the official "religieuse" pastry created by Laurent Favre-Mot with our coffees & teas.

Discover the video of the first edition of a prestigious event which has gathered all the actors of the Parisian gastronomy scene and reaffirmed Paris as a European and global gourmet capital...This has been organized by Lebey team who also created a guide of brasseries and restaurants in Paris in 1987. After tasting was performed with the best artisan pastry makers, five best culinary creations of the year have been awarded. To finish this high end meal, Cafés Richard proposed an espresso from Bolivia, fine coffee from organic agriculture, grown in the far end of the Bolivian Andes and appreciated for its notes of dried fruits and toasted cereals. We also proposed our herbal teas “Secrets d’Equilibre” and “Tisane des Comptoirs”.Cafés Richard is partner of the "Lebey de la Gastronomie" Awards
The "Sweets Club" at the Académie du Café
The most acclaimed Pastry chefs club in Paris meets quarterly for a very private tasting around a given theme. Coffee was the theme and we had the chance to have them at the Académie du Café. Each person presented an original creation for an ultra & exclusive tasting, with the presence of Christophe Adam, l'Ekip Michalak, Arnaud Larher, Yann Couvreur, Jérôme Chaucesse, Sébastien Serveau...The “Sweets Club” at the Académie du Café
Anthony Calvez is France Vice-champion of Latte Art 2014
Coffee championships in France have been organized by the SCAE and took place at SuccessFood exhibition, in front of an enthousiastic audience. Anthony Calvez is already twice France Barista Champion of Barista and won the Vice-champion of Latte Art title. For the competition, he realised a very technical shape : "Tulip in the wind". Anthony Calvez is also trainer at the Académie du Café, providing Barista and Latte Art workshops.
